FCC to Hold Public Hearing on Early Termination Fees
The Federal Communications Commission announced further details on a public hearing on early termination fees that will be hosted Thursday, June 12, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. through 1:30 p.m., in the Commission Meeting Room (TW-C305).
According to the FCC, the Commission will hear from expert panelists regarding the use of early termination fees by communications service providers and is open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Commission also announced the hearing will be webcast live via the Internet. Additional information concerning the webcast is available at http://www.fcc.gov/realaudio.
Public comments may be filed with the Commission and should reference Docket No. 05-194.
