Technology Law Group to Contribute Legal Content to Telecom Association
Technology Law Group is pleased to announce that it will serve as a featured legal content provider to the Telecom Association ("TA") as well as its membership in that Association. TA is a consortium of telecom agents, channel partners and vendors providing telecom and technology business services and boasts in excess of 2,400 members.
Each week, TLG will provide practical and timely information to TA's members in the form of articles and white papers addressing contract, litigation and industry matters as well as updates on current legal developments relevant to the telecommunications industry. TLG founder and managing partner, Neil S. Ende says, "We look forward to the opportunity to interact with the many industry leaders that are members of TA and to be of service to the TA community," and adds that the firm will provide to the TA membership, without charge, a review, annotation and consultation of an existing or pending agreement as part of the firm's effort to increase awareness of critical contracting issues which are too often overlooked or ignored.
In the upcoming weeks, TLG will publish a series of white papers addressing key aspects of the agreement process. The first white paper will address the negotiating process, followed by white papers focused on the process of drafting agent agreements (including a discussion of the most critical terms) and concluding with one or more white papers address implementation, dispute resolution and litigation issues. Each white paper will highlight particular areas of concern--both business and legal--that frequently arise in connection with carrier/agent agreements, and explain in practical layman's terms, the ways in which disputes can be avoided or resolved through careful drafting of agent agreements and through pro-active management of the business relationship on an on-going basis.
Existing TA members are encouraged to check the TA website frequently for TLG updates at http://www.telecomassociation.com and to subscribe to TA's free email service to receive the TLG updates together with other industry news and agent programs. Non-members may view TA's site content and receive TA email updates as well.
